Product Information

  • San Marzano tomatoes are almost universally considered to be the best tasting tomatoes in the world. From the San Marzano Valley in Southern Italy near Naples, these tomatoes have thicker flesh, fewer seeds and a sweeter, less acidic flavor. These tomatoes, however, are not grown in Southern Italy - instead, they come from authentic San Marzano seeds grown in fertile California dirt. Since the basis of any good sauce is the raw ingredients, starting with the best tomatoes really matters.
