  Permatex® High Strength Threadlocker Red fixtures in approximately twenty minutes and is fully cured within twenty-four hours. Use of Permatex® Surface Prep activator reduces fixture time to five minutes.

  • For use in heavy duty applications
  • Keeps fasteners from loosening
  • Lessens replacing of set screws
  • Ideal for 0.375 to 1 inch fasteners (10 to 25mm)
  • Heat and special tools needed for disassembly

  Usage Instructions: 1. Clean and dry parts using Permatex® Surface Prepactivator. 2. Shake threadlocker before each use. 3. Remove cap and snip nozzle tip. 4. Apply to threaded areas and assemble parts. Refer to Technical Data Sheet for complete information. NOTE: Threadlocker works on metal parts and It is not to be used on plastics. For Red Threadlocker, cured product must be heated to 500degF (260degC) before parts will separate.
