What has changed with the fuel program?
The fuel program now allows you to receive savings on fuel purchases at both QFC and at participating Shell locations. For each increment of 100 fuel points earned in a calendar month, 10¢ off per gallon is awarded at QFC Fuel Centers or select Shell locations on a single fill up.
• 100 fuel points = 10¢ off per gallon of fuel for each fill-up.
How do I earn fuel points?
There are three ways to earn points in QFC stores:
1. Spending on Groceries (normal exclusions apply): $1 in Groceries = 1 point
2. Non-Government funded Prescriptions: 1 Prescription = 50 points
3. Double Gift Card Points (normal exclusions apply): $50 in Gift Cards = 100 points
Do Gift Card purchases count toward points?
Yes. With the exception of QFC Gift Cards, Green Dot Cards, MoneyPaks and 1-2-3 REWARDS® Visa prepaid Debit Card and ReCharge Card™. All remaining Gift Card Purchases count toward your points. In fact, you will receive DOUBLE points on all qualifying gift card purchases! For example, when you purchase $50 in gift cards, you will receive 100 points toward your fuel reward. Normal exclusions apply.
How can I find out how many fuel points I have?
Your current fuel points balance is located at the bottom of your QFC receipt. You can also check your fuel points balance by registering your QFC Advantage Card number here.
How many fuel points can I redeem at once?
There is a limit of 100 fuel points that can be redeemed in a single fuel fill-up. When you redeem 100 fuel points you will receive 10¢ off per gallon on your fuel purchase at QFC Fuel Centers and participating Shell stations. Fuel savings are limited to 35 gallons, per vehicle per purchase.
What if I have earned more than 100 fuel points?
If you have more than 100 fuel points available at the time you redeem your fuel points, any excess fuel points will remain on your card through the end of the following calendar month. For example, if you earn 232 fuel points in July, you will have two fuel discounts you can redeem in July or August. If you have earned fuel discounts in both months, the oldest discount will be redeemed first.
Is there a limit of how many fuel points I can earn?
No, there is not a limit on the number of fuel points you can earn.
How does the process at the QFC pump work?
1. At the pump, simply scan or swipe your QFC Advantage Card or 1-2-3 REWARDS® Visa® Card. You may also type your alternate ID number into the key pad.
2. When prompted at the pump about using your discount, select YES.
3. If you have earned 100 fuel points, watch as the price per gallon rolls back and enjoy your discount!
4. Save 10¢ per gallon up to a maximum of 35 gallons of fuel per purchase.
5. If you have not yet earned 100 fuel points, you can still enjoy a 3¢ per gallon discount.
How does the process at the Shell pump work? (If you are at a station in Oregon, just hand your QFC Advantage Card to the attendant before filling up).
1. If paying inside, see cashier BEFORE inserting your QFC Advantage Card.
2. BEFORE you insert your payment card follow the screen prompts to initiate the QFC discount process.
3. Insert your QFC Advantage Card, or manually enter your alternate ID or your loyalty card number found on the back of your loyalty card or key fob.
4. Select your form of payment and fuel grade.
5. If you have earned 100 fuel points, start saving INSTANTLY! Save 10¢ per gallon up to a maximum of 35 gallons of fuel per purchase.
I scan my Advantage Card at QFC, why can’t I scan it at Shell?
Shell station fuel pumps don’t have scanning technology. To get the savings, either insert your large QFC Advantage Card or enter your loyalty card number found on the back of your loyalty card or key fob. You can also enter your alternate ID. Remember, your alternate ID and/or phone number must be registered with QFC in order for them to work properly. Go here to update your Advantage Card information.
Can I choose not to use my savings at the fuel pump?
Yes. Do not insert your QFC Advantage Card when purchasing fuel at Shell, or select NO when prompted at QFC, and your fuel points will remain on your card for future use.

Do I need to register for this new program?
Customers can simply use their existing QFC Advantage Card to receive these fuel savings. If you have a QFC Advantage Card, you have everything you need to start shopping and earning points. If you want to sign up for a QFC Advantage Card, just visit the Customer Service Desk at your local QFC.
Does the 1-2-3 REWARDS® Visa® Card still give an additional 5¢ per gallon discount?
You can pay with your 1-2-3 REWARDS® Visa® Card. However, the extra 5¢ per gallon is only available at QFC Fuel Centers. To activate the 10¢ discount at Shell, card holders can enter the loyalty card number on the back of their 1-2-3 REWARDS® Visa® Card.
